The educational path for students in the course of preparing reformers and nurturing the younger generation employs diverse means and methods aimed at achieving the holistic development of the student and building psychological well-being. Among these means are gatherings of knowledge and learning, study circles, and dialogues of thought and awareness. Another method is field trips.
Carefully planned trips with high objectives have proven their ability to achieve results and qualitative leaps in educational groups. We do not view trips as mere places for recreation and play; this is perhaps their least important aspect. Rather, trips are based on intensifying efforts to maximize results, so that the day is utilized from beginning to end with diverse activities tailored to each trip.
Camps, on one hand, are a respite from the city's dominance and noise, a space where the mind is clear and the spirit is at peace. On the other hand, they offer a release from all distractions to focus effort on a single purpose. On another hand, they bring joy to the heart through meeting friends and enjoying the company of loved ones. On yet another hand, they represent a departure from the shackles of laziness to the realms of ambition, and on a third hand, a move from the confines of self to the realm of belonging. For the nation to be aware of its own shortcomings. This definition is one of the most important things that distinguishes us in an individualistic reality where standards have been distorted, where the center of humanity is the self, and people have become enslaved to their desires instead of worshipping God and turning to Him alone. These camps and educational programs are reformulating standards anew, reformulating them according to the Prophetic methodology. This slogan carries many burdens and encompasses a long journey, and this journey was the starting point—the starting point for following the Prophetic methodology and shaping souls according to its example.
The journey focused on strengthening the relationship with the Book of God Almighty, for it is He who "guides to that which is most upright," guiding to what is most upright in all things. Whoever adheres to it will receive blessings from every direction. The Book of our Lord is the fundamental axis of every endeavor. The basic material with which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, built the souls of the Companions, elevating them, was the verses of God Almighty. They were the focus of discussion in Dar al-Arqam and then the cornerstone of knowledge in Medina. If we seek to follow in the footsteps of the Companions, may God be pleased with them, then we must walk in their footsteps as much as possible, and among the things they walked was a good relationship with the Book of God Almighty. The source of learning the straight path and following the right way lies in adhering to the verses of the Wise Book.
Among the most significant aspects of the journey were gatherings of faith, circles of remembrance, sermons, and reminders of God and the fundamental truths of the religion. For if hearts are purified, bodies are purified, and everything is purified. He whose heart is illuminated by God finds guidance closer to his heart and more readily embraced his path. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught his companions faith, as is evident in many hadiths, some understood from their context and others explicitly stated, such as the statement of Jund regarding the Prophet's teaching them: "We were with the Prophet when we were young men, and we learned faith." Learning faith and participating in circles of remembrance is a glimpse of Paradise's bliss, leading to its ultimate bliss in the Hereafter. The scholars of the journey spoke at length about the final abode: Paradise and the bliss of its inhabitants, and Hell and the misery of its people. May God make us among the believers, reclining on couches facing one another.
Besides the fraternal gatherings where good souls meet and connect, memories are forged that become indelible in the annals of eternity, etched in the hearts of the brothers. As some of the righteous have said, only four pleasures remain in this world, among them meeting with friends and conversing with companions. This companionship strengthens one's character, elevates one's state, and guides one to God through demeanor and speech. A person is elevated by their companion; a person's aspirations rise, their soul is purified, their intellect sharpens, their knowledge increases, and they prosper according to the company they keep and the kind of people they associate with. Thus, a good friend is like a fine musk and a perfume seller; you receive nothing but goodness and joy from them.
Many gatherings have discussed the character of the reformer, its formation, and the reformer's reality and effectiveness within it. They explored what constitutes a reformer, what its contributing factors are, and how we can be among those of whom God said, "Those who hold fast to the Book and establish prayer—indeed, We do not waste the reward of those who pray" (Quran 4:17). This is in pursuit of following the path of the prophets and emulating their example, for they were chosen by God from among all His creation. And who is better in speech than one who calls to God alone?
[And who is better in speech than one who calls to God alone?] The blessed journey included many segments, such as a skills course in which young people develop their competencies, and a lengthy session on the problem of triviality and ways to solve and get rid of it, with an explanation and discussion about some chapters of the text of the curriculum from the legacy of prophethood, then following this understanding by memorizing the chapters, and we expanded within the framework of the nation, so the talk was lengthy about its problems and the pains of its body, of which there is not a handspan without a stab and blood, and then it is waiting for their righteous sons to build themselves up and then rise up for treatment and to work for the religion.. And fragrant sessions in which the mill of knowledge turned with the breezes of faith under the roof of revelation and with the nation of Muhammad being the direction and working for it being the goal, this is a starting point and a path, and every bright end has a burning starting point.
